Art de Parfum’s Halloween Essentials: The Witching Hour

I love this time of year! Even though I’m not a kid anymore, there is something very alluring about the idea of playing dress-up for Halloween. I love to stride through the streets of London, kicking over leaves and looking at all the lovely pumpkins glowing in the dark. If there is the scent of chestnuts roasting on the fire somewhere, then even better. Here is a list of my essentials for a great witching hour this Halloween.   The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgarov This is one of my winter favorites! Art de Parfum – Our Who, What, and Why

Our Who I’m Ruta Degutyte and I founded Art de Parfum because I believe that small objects of beauty, whether it be a bottle of perfume, a small painting, or a silk scarf can elevate a person’s mood and make their life feel more beautiful in general. When I wear Excentrique Moi, I always feel like I should be curled up under a blanket with a good book on my lap and a slice of fruitcake and a steaming hot cup of tea to the side. Hmmm, actually, that sounds good right about now! While there...

What is your favourite fragrance based on a drink or cocktail? And Competition!

Personally, I'm not much of a drinker - but I have always loved the scent of a good Gin & Tonic. Its aroma of bitter quinine and spicy juniper berry is indefinably British - and always spells summer to me. In fact, that's what inspired me to create Gin & Tonic Cologne. It's one of the most popular of the Art de Parfum line, especially in the UK, and it's easy to see why - with the tennis season fast approaching, people are starting to think of the pleasures of watching Wimbledon while quaffing an ice-cold G&T. This fragrance is a time capsule of these classic English traditions. The opening is as refreshing as taking a long sip of that ice-cold G&T – teeming with peppery...
